Bilateral graphs display a variety of variables of information and the information is presented on either side of an axis on a graph. The provided graph uses 3 different types of variables amongst increasing imports and also trade deficits in clean energy products in China during a span of 4 years (2006-2010). There are three different colors on the graph which each display a different variable of information. Green represents imports from Chins, blue represents exports, and red displays deficits. By showing three different amounts of information on either side of an axis makes this example a bilateral graph.
