Infrared aerial photos use a specific portion of the light spectrum that the human eye can not see. These photos are taken from aircrafts, spacecrafts, and other vehicles. The picture provided shows a river and the vegetation surrounding the river. The infrared gives the different environmental aspects a the picture a more vibrant color making it easier to study the area. By using an infrared technique in the aerial photo this example can be considered an infrared aerial photo.
