Scatterplot Graph

http://www.gardenersown.co.uk/education/lectures/r/graphs2.htm

A scatterplot graph displays two sets of information by using an X axis and a Y axis.  Each point displayed is a combination of the X axis and Y axis brought together. Once all points have been plotted a line (best fit line) showing the average slope amongst all of the points can be displayed.  The scatterplot provided relates distance vs. speed.  The graph shows the both of these variables are correlated with each other.  When one increases so does the other.  By showing the different points and best fit line within this graph, this graph could be considered a scatterplot.
