Population profile maps are charts that display information on the number of people correlated with their ages. Just like the map provided, many of the population profile maps can be divided into male and female categories. This specific map contains information from the 2010 census which gives information on total population on in the District of Columbia which is also divided by male and female categories. By showing these different age differences through a span of 10 years, this map could be considered population profile.
