Classed Choropleth Map

https://www.e-education.psu.edu/natureofgeoinfo/book/export/html/1553

Classed choropleth maps use aerial units of land areas to group into various categories.  Each aerial unit (such as a state from the example provided) is divided into different classes and each class has a specific color given to it.  The map provided shows the different Hispanic densities throughout the United States through their use of color shading.  By displaying this information in this particular way, this map can be considered a Classed Choropleth Map.
