A standardized choropleth map uses information that is averaged or in other words standardized. This category of choropleth maps are aerially averaged by land area. The provided map shows the standardized data of the population of under 14 year olds within Canada. Colors are used to show the variance within each section of canada. By using the standardized information this map could be considered a standardized choropleth map.
